Thank
you for another incredible year!
Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to send
you this message of hope and thanks for another incredible year.
Each year we are personally thankful for Sean's life and the
impact he has had on so many others. All of the work we do for
Sean's Hope is because of him. He has taught us that hope is
everything.
On November 29 th this
year, we will mark the 5 year anniversary of Sean's diagnosis.
Given that we were told he wouldn't live but 6 months more,
this milestone is breathtaking.
Thank you for being a
part of something so personal and important.
There is no false hope!

NEWS
The
Denny Dent Fund is Already Making an Impact
After the success of the recent "NIGHT OF HOPE", we
visited Children's Hospital of Denver in June to kick off our
newest initiative - The Denny Dent Fund. This fund is directed
to help the Spanish speaking families undergoing cancer treatment
get access to support programs and funding that is hard to come
by. Specifically, there are families who are not eligible for
government funding.but being a "legal" resident doesn't preclude
you from getting cancer, so these precious children are in need
of support in many ways.
In addition
to financial support, we have kicked off "Para Latinas" with
the support of a special group of women headed up by Suzanna
Martinez. This program will align Spanish speaking young women
in the business community with families undergoing treatment.
The hospital staff is thrilled with this program and we will
keep you posted as to the success.

A
NIGHT OF HOPE gives hope to many
We want to extent
a big THANK YOU for all the support we received at this year's
event. We raised over $115,000. Every single penny of that money
is going directly to help families.
Perhaps the highlight
of the evening for the McCauley family was felt when, with the
help of his dad, Sean was able to walk into the room and hear
how big of an impact he has made on the world in five short
years.
As a note, the evening
would not have been possible without the unselfish contribution
of many, including Stephanie Hinkle and the JW Marriott team
as well as the band "Mulligan" who gave us all a reason to dance!

Sean's
Hope Administrator Position is Announced!
Over the past few years, Sean's Hope has made a commitment to
remain a grass roots foundation, meaning "no administrative
expenses". What this means is that we remain committed to being
a 100% volunteer organization. Given this, our ability to get
help is limited.
We are pleased to announce
that Shelly Anderson has generously agreed to come on board
and volunteer as the Sean's Hope Administrator. Her role will
help us reach out more frequently and efficiently. Her organization
skills and expertise with database management are just what
we need to grow.
If you are interested
in getting involved and using your own specialized skills to
help Sean's Hope grow, we would love to hear from you.
Please send an email to Danielle@seanshope.org.
